VANOC MAIN DISTRIBUTION CENTRE TOUR

Welcome back members to the 2009-2010 season of the CMHDS. We’re kicking off this season in a great way with a tour of the Olympic Distribution Facility.

What better way to start the year than to experience and hear of the logistical challenges that go behind one of the biggest events to ever occur in our city, province & country.

Located in Delta this 521,000 sq.ft. facility holds all the accoutrements to making the Games a successful venture…from hockey pucks to podiums, this facility has it all!

Come and hear of the challenges our hosts have in collecting all the materials from around the world…cataloging them and ensuring they are ready and in place in time for all the events.

Our hosts have an fascinating and inspiring story to tell, as well as a facility that rivals any in Vancouver for sheer size and organization.
