Spend One Day @ UBC with UBC Continuing Studies. This course moves from a broad theoretical overview of sustainability to a detailed exploration of the philosophical, political, economic, social and ecological drivers of the current sustainability challenge, and critical analysis of proposed pathways to a sustainable future. Class discussions are organized around a UBC Continuing Studies audio podcast series featuring five of Canada’s top thinkers on sustainability, as well as recommended readings, lectures and simulations.
